23 CONTEMPORARY ARTISTS AND COLLECTIVES RECEIVE UNRESTRICTED GRANTS OF $45,000 EACH INCLUDING TWO VIOLA FARBER AWARDS FROM
FOUNDATION FOR CONTEMPORARY ARTS
New York, NY, February 25, 2025 –The Foundation for Contemporary Arts (FCA) announced today the twenty-three artists and collectives who will receive its $45,000 Grants to Artists awards. Launched in 1993, the Grants to Artists awards are unrestricted, by-nomination grants that provide recipients—artists working in Dance, Music/Sound, Performance Art/Theater, Poetry, and Visual Arts who exemplify contemporary, experimental work being made today—with the financial means to engage in any artistic endeavors they wish to pursue. For 2025, FCA will award a total of $1,035,000, to the following artists:
