Introducing the 2017 Public Performance Art Fellows at Betty's Daughter Arts Collaborative, LLC
Please join us in welcoming ten brilliant, bold, and talented creatives to BDAC's fellowship in public performance art. This round is dedicated to experiments and explorations in creative emancipation. Fellows will engage theoretical study, solo creation, ensemble-based projects, and public performance actions in community. Fellows will deepen and expand their own aesthetic practice while engaging in the profoundly rigorous work of building community, sustaining a culturally-relevant ritual practice, and teaching emerging and challenging ideas about the role of public performance for personal and social transformation.
